The Wilson Tourism Hub invites you to participate in the Annual Czech Festival Parade on Saturday, July 25, 2026
ENTRY FORMS DEADLINE: NOON MONDAY
Theme: “HARVESTING HERITAGE”
Slogan: “HONORING CZECH TRADITION – CELEBRATING 250 YEARS OF AMERICA””
Parade is scheduled to begin at 10:00A.M. with Grand Marshall presentation at 9:50 A.M.
The parade route, along with lineup (including entry numbers) will be emailed to each participant on Friday, July 24, 2026. If you don’t have an email, please list a good number to call on Friday with your entry number.
Each entry will be provided a number at parade lineup. Please place your number (large and clearly displayed) on the left side of the entry!
The parade will assemble at the North end of the city, travel Ave E to 31st St., and pass by the nursing home. Lineup begins at 9:00 a.m. and all entries need to be in place by 9:45 a.m. There will be a motor vehicle parked to help direct participants on the corner of Ave D and 22nd Street from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Due to the 5K run/walk earlier in the morning, we ask that you not arrive earlier than 9:00 a.m.
No candy and/or souvenirs may be thrown from moving vehicles. Participants may throw out souvenirs if walking. Please help with the safety of our viewers.
Floats and individuals will be judged in the following areas: General Effect in Presentation, Parade Theme, and Originality. Cars/Vehicles will be judged on: General Effect in Presentation, Cleanliness & Condition of the Body.
